Danny P. Barbare

The Gift

The
couple
in
front
of
the
man
buy
his
groceries

I
don’t
know
why

I
guess
it’s
the
season
of
giving.

The Bluebird

What
worth
am
I

but
a
bluebird
perched
in
a
tree

that
happily
sings
all
day
long.
