Debbie Strange (Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a chronically ill short-form poet, visual artist, and photographer whose creative passions connect her more closely to the world, to others, and to herself. Thousands of Strange's poems and artworks have been published worldwide. Debbie's most recent book, The Language of Loss: Haiku & Tanka Conversations (Sable Books, 2020), won the 2019 Sable Books International Women's Haiku Contest and received Haiku Canada's 2022 Marianne Bluger Chapbook Award.
